UPA, Israel affairs - Ignominy of democratic values

UPA government recently signed an extradition treaty and a pact on the transfer of sentenced prisoners with Israel to forge anti-terror activity is a mock because Israel is by itself a fountain head of terrorism globally.
And the decision to open a consulate in Bangalore, India's IT hub will we treat to the nation. Israel opened its Embassy in Delhi in February 1992 and India opened its Embassy in Tel Aviv on 15 May 1992. All major terror activities including bomb blast happened only after 1992. Is this a coincidental or accidental it has to be unveiled?

Pro Palestine

For years, India has followed a pro-Palestinian orientation. Since India began its term at the UN Security Council, it has sponsored a number of anti-Israel resolutions, and it unremittingly denounces Israeli activity in the territories.

UPA has re-iterated India's traditional position based on what Mahatma Gandhi had said - that Palestine was for Palestinians as England was for English. "India was opposed to partition (of Palestine) and had proposed a one-state solution anchored in democracy with equal political rights for Jews and other Palestinians. This was what put forward by Nehru followed by Indira Gandhi right up to the Rajiv Gandhi era. In fact, Rajiv had taken a tour of the region and had frequent interaction with Yasser Arafat. But after having been on the vanguard, we appear to have gone back.

Israel a terror hub by its Existence

Israel, a Zionist theocratic state is the real harbinger of the modern terrorism, is a fact known to the whole civilized world, specially the people of Palestine, who have been at the receiving end of the Zionist terror-network for more than 6 decades. Israel as a state was forced on the peace-loving people of Palestine in 1948 but long before it the Zionist terrorist groups had been blasting buildings, burning villages and killing people.

According to an UN committee report released in 1948 listed 167 major terrorist acts indulged by the Zionist gangs between 1944 and 1948, not only in West Asia but in Europe also. And all these terrorist activities do not include the killing of innocent Palestinians killed by Israel after its formation for its illegal occupation.

UNO RESOLUTIONS AGANST ISRAELI TERROR

The Zionist terrorism continued unabated with the establishment of the theocratic state of Israel. This continued despite condemnation by the UNO and world community except USA. From 1967 to 1989 the UN Security Council passed 88 resolutions in which actions of Israel were either "condemned," "censured," or "deplored". During the same period the UN General Assembly passed 429 resolutions against Israel were passed and this totalitarian state was openly condemned 321 times. It is to be noted here that about 50 resolutions condemning Israel were aborted as USA vetoed the same. Israel ignored every single resolution. The number of resolutions criticizing or condemning Israel is unmatched by the record of any other nation.

Defaming Democracy

S M Krishna visited Israel after an eleven year period during which no foreign minister from India stepped foot in Jerusalem. This lobbying of bilateral relationship is quite against the India external affairs policy as it member of Non Alignment Movement since its freedom from British imperialism.

The relationship with nation which gained formation by destruction terror plots and has stilled continued its inhuman activities of killing millions of Palestinians for its illegal occupation will be a defame for India the world largest democracy with the longest track record of being ruled democratically for more than six decades.
